Good condition, original hand carved frame. This painting was from a series of four paintings titled "Scenes of Autumn in Indiana." It was commissioned by the H. P. Wasson & Co. department store in Indianapolis and exhibited there from October–December of 1935. The painting depicts the golf course at the French Lick Springs Hotel in French Lick, Indiana, with the hotel itself in the distance. The paintings were later given away through select Indianapolis Women's Clubs.
