Provenance: The artist; John and Betty Ott, Greenfield, Indiana (purchased directly from the artist, 1971; Charlie and Kim Johnson Collection, Indianapolis, Indiana, by descent from the former (Kim Johnson is the daughter of John and Betty Ott). Kim Johnson’s former sister-in-law, Ann Ott of Greenfield, Indiana, is a descendant of Doel Reed’s (Ann Ott’s grandmother was Doel Reed’s sister).
