From the artist: "A group of riders emerge from the underpass as they return to the saddle barn in mid-October, 2020. After settling on the general composition, I made an additional trip to "set the light." The sun's angle creates diagonal shadows on the stonework, banks and trail that direct the eye back to the riders."
